The Shopify Affiliate Program includes entrepreneurs, educators, influencers, and content creators who inspire and teach their audience about entrepreneurship with Shopify. The program is free to join, and allows you to monetize your audience and earn commissions from each new Shopify merchant referral.

To apply, you must:Own and run an active websiteHave an established audienceCreate original content, such as online courses, seminars, blog posts, or videosHave an experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platformsHave read and agreed to the Shopify Partner Program Agreement

Our team will carefully review your application and in most cases, applications to the Shopify Affiliate Program are processed within 5 business days. If your application is approved, then you'll receive an email confirming your acceptance and some tools to help you get started.

For denials, due to the high volume of submissions, Shopify doesn't provide feedback on individual applications.

Yes. The Shopify Affiliate Program is global and we welcome you to apply as long as our third-party affiliate software supports your country of residence.

Upon acceptance into the Shopify Affiliate Program, you will receive access to our third-party affiliate software where you can create and manage your affiliate referral links. When educating your audience about Shopify, always include your affiliate referral links. Our tracking cookie window is 30 days.

You're eligible to receive a fixed-bounty for all full price plan merchant referrals. There is no maximum number of merchants you can refer, we want you to earn as much as possible.

The Shopify Affiliate Program supports payment by direct deposit to your bank account or PayPal.

The Shopify Affiliate Program requires a minimum balance of $10 USD before withdrawals can be made. Affiliates can choose to be paid when their balance reaches a certain amount or on a bi-weekly basis. Please note that regardless of your region/country, all commission payments are made in USD.

You can track your total merchant referrals and those who have successfully switched from a trial to a paid plan. For privacy reasons, you cannot track the revenue of a specific merchant.

Visit Shopify's brand guidelines to ensure you are correctly using our brand assets. By using our brand assets, you indicate your acceptance of our Trademark Usage Guidelines and you understand that a violation of these guidelines will result in the termination of your Shopify Partner account.
